Balwant Singh Ramoowalia
Sardar Balwant Singh Ramoowalia is a real Singh of Punjab. He is a very honest and kind politician of my dear Punjab. He has been helping everyone since I was a little school boy. He saved thousands of Punjabi young boys who were suffering in other countries. Also helped so many our daughters and sisters who were married to NRI’s.
Balwant Singh Ramoowalia has become a beacon of hope for every Punjabi who has been duped by unscrupulous travel agents of lakhs of rupees painstakingly saved in the hope of starting a new life abroad. He floated the Lok Bhalai Party in 1999 to take up all such causes, including of holiday brides - girls who are wedded to visiting Punjabi NRIs and then dumped after the husbands go back.
In the last one-and-a-half years, he has managed to get Rs 1.5 crore returned to people who were duped by travel agents. His focus now is on an estimated 30,000 Indians, who are languishing in jails in other countries on charges of illegal immigration.

- Balwant Singh Ramoowalia who is leading the charge to stop marriage scams says there are about 15,000 women in Punjab whose husbands have deserted them. “The victims are the innocent women of Punjab.”
- “In fact, two or three girls in every village have such a tale to narrate,” he said at an abandoned wives media conference in Chandigarh last December.
- Ramoowalia said the LBP was trying its best to check the activities of immigration and travel agents who wanted to cheat innocent youth from Punjab in the name of sending them abroad.
- ‘We have got some of them arrested. We have also been able to force some agents to refund nearly Rs.1.8 million to people who were cheated by them,’ he added.

sir, millions of punjabi abroad are just waiting for the change in punjab . we aret fed up by the present govts.punjab is losing its glory in all kinds of fields. we want our punjab to dominate everywhere .we dont want punjab to safe heaven for the drug lords,gangs of land grabbers, travel agents etc.

LBP should post lots of your rallies, interviews, your helping hand to indians outside , fake travel agent busted, cheated NRI grooms, views of foreigners, sikhs problems realetd to turban, and failure of akalis and congress. sir you will surprised to see the response and it is the cheapest mode to reach to the people. Amrit ji, Mr Ramoowalias website is under construction, very soon it will be online at http://www.lokbhalaiparty.co.in we need people like you to improve our punjab. its everyones responsibility to act in the best interest of our people. Most of the politicians use drugs nad money to get votes. I know couple of people who died with liver failure after excessive drinking during election times. Its a very big and complex problem. Hopefully we will be able to clean our Punjab one day. Thanks for your message.

it is realy a hopeful thing to have a person like Sh.Balwant Singh Ramoowalia to help the needed persons. ohna ne apne punjabi veeran vaste bahut hard work kita a te kar v rahe ne. Every one know that he is a honest and caring person. he love to help the needed persons and always speak what is true. it make him diffrent from others. so thax a lot Ramoowalia ji for helping and caring us.
